i know RPO's tell what came in your car, etc. but where are they? in the VIN #?????? help!

 

They are codes printed on a SPID label (Service Parts Identification Label) and it is in your center console.....

 

ok, heres my question, my rpo sticker on the drivers door is extremely faded, where exactly in the center console is the rpo?? I looked inside with no luck, I think there are some rpo somwhere else on the car. Will somebody tell we where I can look for them, I have a 1989 Firebird. Any informaiton will be greatly appreciated.

Dude, there is no RPO sticker on the drivers door. The RPO sticker should only be in the center console on Firebirds up to 91 (or so I've heard) and on 91's & 92's they are in the rear locking compartment. If your car is missing this then someone either swapped center consoles on you or it just fell off over time....

 

You're looking for a label that is similar to this;

 

yes you are correct, I thought it was there, but I have no luck in the center console, guess I dont have one. I would think that GM would put the rpo in more than one place.
