Is my carpeting rare?
Thats for you, Drew
Anyway, I was wondering what color carpeting the convertible guys around here have in their trunk and over the gas tank. Mine is the same as the rest of the interior, beige. Someone I know who has a 92 says his is black. So, was this changed at some point, or was it always black on the convertibles? Curious minds want to know...

Hi,
My '89 was bought from the original lady owner. Totally original car. My carpet is gray front and back. The back carpet has a small rectangular black plastic piece heat melted to the carpet behind the seats. The striker pin on the #5 bow rests on it with the top down.
