Got an email from a guy in Florida . says he has a ....Pontiac Fairbird Pro Am 1.....W T F ! Sonds like 
to me .
Anyone know of this ...Mythical Bird?????

there was one during the thirdgen too. I don't have any pics handy but I've seen them.. they have a weird and ugly set of ground effects and custom pro-am decals.. that's about all I could see that was different. In soem Classic Industries catalogs there's a picture of a red Formula 350 on a black background with those ground effects but on that pic they're clearly aftermarket.. I don't know about pro-AM itself. my guess is it's an aftermarket package, or maybe dealer installed. most likely aftermarket though.

here, I found it online.. these are the ground effects on the pro-am's I've seen. I hate the way they tuck under and are more narrow than the rest of the car.. how ugly. the ground effects is all they had externally, plus some vague pro-am decals. under the hood and on the interior, I'm guessing they were normal firebirds.
