This is gonna sound like a dumb question, but if the Camaro and the Firebird started production the same year how come the anniversary models are different??

They're not, even though the Camaro came out 1st in 66 as a 67 model and the Firebird came out in 67 as a 67 1/2. Whats different, is the Trans Am came after the Z28 making its Anniversary year different.

Z28=67
Trans Am=69 1/2

[Johnny Carson Voice] I, I did not know that. Crazy, crazy stuff I tell ya.[/Johnny Carson Voice]

Being a Camaro guy, I never knew that the Firebird was introduced as a 67 1/2. Just goes to show ya, if you wake up and get outta bed, you're gonna learn something that day!
