85 305HO 5sp - How rare?
I just read a post somewhere that they only made 37 '85 Trans Am 305HO 5spd cars???? is the true????? I have one and never considered it rare, but now that I think about it I don't think I've seen too many around....

alan, i think 86 was the low L69 production year in the t/a
i believe they only made about 35 of the cars with the L69, and started experiencing vapor lock problems with that engine.
do a search on the L69 here on the boards, i seem to recall a post about the L69's in 86 having vapor lock problems.

1,665 L69 5 spd T/A's were built in 1985.
1986 was the rare year for the L69, only 26 L69 T/A's were built due to vapor lock problems.
