bird on hood decal question???

Hi, I'm a new to the sight. I have a 91 Trans Am, black with silver decals. My question is whats the last year for the big hood decal?? My TA has one and I was wondering if it's was a factory option or not. It's not one of real big highly detailed decals from the late 70's, but just kind of an outline of the bird(hard to explain) My car also doesn't have the small bird decal on the front bumper either. I've seen a few early 3rd gens with the birds on the hood, but never any later 3rd gens and I was just curious. thanx

1987 was the last year for the large hood bird.

yeah I got some pics, but don't know how to post em. My car pretty much looks like yours only, it's black, has no front license plate mount, and has different wheels. In the pics I got you really can't see the bird on the hood, it looks like it's faded away from somebody using a buffer or something. If someone could please tell me how to post pics I'd appreciate it

when youre typing your post, theres a spot at the bottom that says attach file, just find it and it will automatically put it in. btw, it has to be under 102400 bytes

Nice car. Your car is like mine except you have a 5-speed. I looked all over for a 5-speed but could only find an auto. Oh well, i'm happy with mine.

Be careful with that "little V-6" comment. Some little V-6's will run high 10's and/or low 11's in the 1/4 mile with little modification.

Got mine at Pheonix Graphix.. They are the best, don't even mess with anything from anyone else.
