High Performance Pontiac mag.

Hi

I was flipping thru my small collection of HPP magazines and encountered the mention of Gale Bank's record breaking Bonneville Salt Flats T/A. On the February 1987 cover billed as World's fastest Trans Am, to be specific.

As this was brought up in a thread somewhere here, thought I'd pass this along... It clocked in at 267 MPH!!

I'd like to hear more about that one - Also interested in the Firehawks early history

I wish I cought that issue... back in 1989/90 I had a subscription to Motor Trend but not nearly as interesting.

I wonder what the twin turbo L98/LT1/LS1's did?
