Today was a terrible day for my z28... started out by breaking another pushrod this morning, got that replaced and running took my girl out for sweetest day and was bringing her back home around 12 or so and just before i got to this bridge BAM something slams into the side of my car no cars in sight so i get to her house which is about 2 mins up the road and my right front fender is all chipped up... so i start to head back home and go back by where it happened and i was pissed so i went ripping by there and once again all these tiny rocks hit me... so now im really pissed so i lock up the brakes and slam it into reverse and go back there and hear nothing and see nothing, so i call the cops and they sent someone out there of course they didnt find anyone but they took pics of my car and said the insuracne should cover it lets hope so. I think i'll be heading back out to this spot next sat night with a baseball bat and a few buddies to take care of some little punks who think they are cute.

and the broken pushrod/rocker arm...... dont ever buy proform roller rockers they are cheap as hell and break every week.. i will be swapping them out for a set of comp cams roller rockers over the winter.

 

That kind of stuff really pisses me off. One thing you never EVER mess with is another man's car.

Sounded like you had a run in with an animal at first!

I've never had that happen, but my car's worst day is probably when it was stolen from the original owner.

It's seen better days of course, but money I'll fix all that
