'91 RS with Disc Rear?
Hey I was just wondering, everyone says that you can recognize a B4C by the disc rear brakes. So does that mean there wasn't an option to get rear disc's on a stock general public available RS in '91 and '92?? This sounds strange to me, I mean why not put it out there as an option?
But the real question I have is, Is it true that a non-B4C RS camaro couldn't get rear disc brakes in '91 and '92?
Thanks, Garrett

I don't think so either, the Camaro White Book says the the G92 is a Z28 only option in 91-92, and I beleive thats the only way you could get rear discs.
So no rear discs on RS's that aren't B4C's

I have a 1991 Z28 5.7 TPI (L98) completely loaded......but.....dosen't have rear disk brakes...RPO codes says J65....it has drum on the rear...maybe someone changed the whole rearend before I bought it??..
GM had a problem with the manufacturer in 1991 and ran out of rear discs and began to use drum in the rear even though it had a J65 code. kinda weird. In 1992 problem was solved and they began putting the rear discs back on the RPO J65 cars.
Don't flame me if I am wrong but I heard this from a pretty reliable source, anyone else heard of this?
