Auto locking doors?
My '92 RS locks the doors when the key is turned on. Yes, it has factory power locks but also has an aftermarket alarm installed by the orig owner so I'm not sure if the car "auto-locked" from the factory or not. I was thinking back but I can't remember if the other 3rd gens (90-92) that I test drove did this or not since it's been several years.
Just curious if anyone cares to set me straight.

Yeah I got the same thing in mine, the after market alarm/remote automatically locks the doors after the car is started. I believe you can disable this feature.
yep depending on the alarm you can either hook up a "mimi" computer that allows you to internally change the options or sometimes it's as easy as cutting the wires.
although i'd leave it, that is unless your one of those prone to leaving your keys in your car. i know it saved me when someone tried to steal my car while i was in it.
