Hey all I am beginning to look for parts to start the restoration for my 89 Camaro. My question is Are the 4gen RPO codes the same as the 3rd gen's . I am looking at rearends.

Yes, they are the same to a certain degree. A WS6 4th gen won't contain all the same parts as a WS6 thirdgen, but your question specificly, yes. A GU5 is still a 3.23 wether it be a thirdgen, fourth gen or a pickup truck. Same with G80. Regardless of application, its still "limited slip"

Yeah something with 3.23 or 3.42 and a posi, however the posi is not too big of a deal since I could upgrade in the future. Its just for my 89 Convert. Iroc daily driver. I have to get those 2.73 OUT.
