Notchback hatch

What do you think the value of a brand new, in box, OEM notchback hatch be worth? I'm friends with the service manager at a local Pontiac Dealership and they found one of these in storage and they are looking to unload it....

Not much, give me their phone number and I'll help them unload it

I'd pay almost $1,500 if I were into the whole Notchback thing, an NOS hatch would be quite the find.....

As a GTA Notchback owner, I can tell you that any owner would love to have that decklid as a spare.

The spare one that I have is not mint like the one you describe.... actually it's in rough gray primer.... and it was priced at $800 (with the rear glass) at a semi-local F-Body parts yard several years ago. I've been offered $2,000 for it on several occasions.

I bought it for $150 from one of the yard's salesmen, but that's another story. Hopefully, I'll never need to use it, but it's nice to have just in case.

Put it this way.... I'd give $1,500 for a NOS decklid in a heartbeat if I needed it. That's a real find, indeed.

Contact me if you'd like to post it on The GTA Source Page in order to help you sell it. I know of a few people in the past who have contacted me looking for one of these because their GTA was originally an AA8 car, but the decklid had been replaced in the past with a standard glass hatch. So there's definitely a market for it....
