Super Rare Camaro?
I was scrounging through a local salvage yard and came across an unusuall 84 Camaro. The rear sail panels were not there, just hard plastic instead of cloth inserts. It's as if they were never cut out for rear speakers. I checked the RPO sheet and the car came with a radio and had front speakers. The wires were there for the radio and front speakers but the stuff was gone, salvage car ya know. Has anyone heard of such a thing before and what option was this!?

Yeah my old 84 was the same way....but own of the previous owners cut holes in the sails and mounted some speakers there (on the plastic!)
anyways the options was the AM radio only option, which didn't have a clock on the stereo itself, so all of the AM radio only cars got the "camaro quartz" clock in the center console,
I don't know if it is considered rare or desirable though.

I've seen it at a yard here too. I would say it's just a really low optioned car. likely not collectable. But depends on the person.
