The RPO stickers are missing on my Z and I would like to know how I would go about getting these or a build sheet?

 

1982 - 1983 did not have an RPO sticker, so don't bother looking for it 1984 was the first year for it.

One option you have is to go to http://www.window-sticker.com/ and order a reproduction window sticker. This will give you all the options that came on the car. I cannot speak to their accuracy, as I have never dealt with them, but I hear good things about 'em.

The other option is to look for the build sheet:

Under both front seats, feel the entire area by hand, feel for paper between springs and foam. If you feel any paper, remove the seat and retrieve the build sheet.

Look nder rear seat butt cushions. The bottom parts only. They are easily removable with one screw in the front middle.

Feel or look under the trunk's deep well area in the very back, under carpet. You have to remove the plastic trim to get under there.

Those are the most likely places. It MIGHT be somewhere else hidden deeper, or it MIGHT not be in the car at all. Good luck,

Thanks a million kizz... I found the build sheet under the driver's seat. It's in pretty bad shape as I expected but I was able to get the RPO #'s off of it and it also showed the ship to address.

 

If you have any pics handy I'd love to see it, even in bad shape. I'm trying to collect a list of valid 1982 RPO's. If not, no big deal

It should also have the car's original weight and exact date built and more. I don't know if those will be readable or not.

I put the RPO's into the decoder on this board. I took the results and c&p them into a text document. One I know of is incorrect and it couldn't find a few but it says what they are on the build sheet. Would this help you out any?
