Ok ive seen pics of my car back 4 years ago when i got it. And just as i thought....my sail panel eagle is still dead center of the sail panel. Can someone asnwer...why is it i see all these other formula's/gta's......any firebirds with the eagles on them and they all have them down farther closer to the window. Was it a alignment thing that varried with different years??. Im really curious about this. Thanks.

 

Mine has 'em down closer to the window as well, and I think my 88 did too. Don't think I've seen one with the decals in the center.

hey thanks freeze.......exactly what im talking about. When i got mine they were in the center. Its just kinda weird how some are in the center and others are not. Ice just always wondered about this.

 

The correct location from what I've read is closer to the last pic posted. Should be closer to the door window, and really close to the ridge that runs the length of the car. Although I have seen cars with original decals all over the place. On my 82 T/A, the hood eagle is slightly off-center left, while the sail panel eagles are right on target. I know they're all original though. GT
