I agree.
It's not that the car isn't nice, it's that I wonder about the car when the seller acts shady, or tries to OVERsell the car as being some super rare find.

Rare? Some people will say anything to sell a car. I did find this 'rare' IROC in Florida at the WCA Winter Nationals though. 1990 IROC w/1LE option...37 miles on the odometer, 2nd owner just picked it up. I can only imagine what he paid.

Actually, the photo was taken while he was having the car inspected. Very unusual part of the show, the WCA inspects each car for working lights, horns, wipers, etc before registering the car. And then a look under the hood for any mods which would put you into another class so the hood is actually popped in this case.

I'm more willing to bet that the ad on 1LE.net is the original ad and the webmaster has not updated the page. At the Florida show, he said he just bought from a guy in Indiania I think it was, and he intended to show it this year in the NY area after leaving Florida in the next few months. This car is a trailer queen no doubt about that.

No IROC cars (especially autos) had the 3.73 gears did they? I'm 99.9% sure that no 350/auto cars ever had anything shorter than 3.42 from the factory.
Only the early 3rdgens like my '83 HO had the 3.73 gears, right?

The original post is total
I know of 50 IROC's that are that nice (or better). Plus the 3.70's rear seems a "little"
suspect.Later, Garrett
