Wondering if anyone has numbers
Wondering if anyone has numbers
I just picked up a fairly unusual 1988 IROC. I'm wondering if someone can tell me how many F-Bodies in 1988 were ordered with:
DX3 (Stripe Delete)
LB9
G92
A/C Delete (is it just C41?)
Thanks. Oh and BTW I know GM doesn't keep records of combinations I'd just like to know how many of each RPO were produced.

Good point! Of the 96,275 Camaros built in 1988, 88,431 had C60 air conditioning, so by reasoning, I guess we could say that 7,844 had A/C Delete.
BTW, all my facts and figures come from Mike Antonick's genuine Camaro White Book™

The term "A/C Delete" does not apply to third gen F-bodies. This implies the car originally had A/C as standard equipment (at no cost) and it was deleted (for credit) to get a car without it. Since all third gen F-bodies did not include A/C as a standard, no-cost option, the term does not apply. So the corrected terms would be:
1) Without A/C and
2) with the optional A/C.

Thanks for the clarification Willie, I did not know that. I guess thats just like the transmissions. As few standards as there are, they are "standard" with the Auto being "optional". I guess we take it for granted that just because its the most popular option, doesn't make it standard.
