Place to restore your own car.
I've been wondering lately, i don't have a closed garage and i'm restoring my car.Now it came to a point that i need a closed garage to work on the body and engine.Does anyone know if they have places where you can rent a garage or something for few months and work on your car?Or if you have any other ideas on restoring the car somewhere else please let me know.

Restoring a car outside in winter in Montreal is deadly.
Perhaps you might invest in one of those portable garages that you put together made of strong tarpuline. Only $300+ I recall. On the other hand I think you should be able to scout the newspaper ads for "garage" space for rent, something with electricity and is secure.
Another good source is bulletin boards at the local grocery stores where seniors like to advertise. I twice bought second hand cars that way.
Lastly, just drive around your neighbourhood and see what's available and then knock on a few doors.
Often people have empty garages or junk in 'em. Worked for me in Toronto.
You'd be surprised how many seniors would appreciate $50/mth to supplement the pension.

Yeah winter is really harsh around here.I'm planing to finish the restoration until the summer. Here mostly they don't let you work on your car in your open garage.Even in a condo in a closed garage they won't allow you to work on your car.Same thing goes with storages usually.
