Looking for info on '92 Z/28

All,

I am new to the board and am hopefully going to look at a '92 Z/28 convertible this week. I am looking for informaiton like prodction #'s, specs, options, etc. It appears that this is the place to ask for this information. Does this information appear somewhere on this website? Could anyone provide me with some insight?

Any information that you have would be great. Thanks!!

they made 1254 Z verts in 92. I have one. THe options were like any other except only 305s and no disk brake rears. Seems like most are leather interior, although mine is cloth. The trim piece above the locks seems to breake often, this isn't cheap (mine is pop rivited together). Any other questions, feel free to ask.

Make sure you look at all the bolts and factory adjustments, like the idle speed adjustment..

Folks,

Thanks for the info. According to the dealership, the car is "long gone". Gotta love folks not updating their ads on autotrader.com. The salesmen that I talked to said that the car was a "pile" anyway. I wonder where it went? I hate to see a limited production car get "crushed".

Oh well, the search goes on......

Where are you located at? Every spring/summer there are a couple around here for sale. They have all been autos though. For some reason, southern Indiana for a lot of these cars. I can think of 5-6 off hand.

Jeremy,

I am located in Peoria, IL. It is a 3 hr. ride to Indianapolis. I have no problem going on a "road cruise" to find what I am looking for. I traveled all the way to Raleigh, NC, 5 yrs. ago to purchase my motorcycle.

Keep you eyes peeled and let me know if anything interesting comes up for sale. I would prefer a 5 speed, however, an automatic will work.

Thanks for the information,
Chris

Is that the one selling for $3200?

I just noticed that in the paper today, and I was going to see if my sister wanted to go see it since she's about to get her license. She said she'd call tomorrow night, but she'd rather have a t-topped car.

I said that's fine, but she's also thinking about buying a toyota. If she gets a damn celica I'ma whoop her ***.
