91 Convertible

Hey guys I have a 1991 Camaro RS Convertible with a 5-speed along with the Z28 wheel and suspension option package. I was told that there are some guys on here with something called a Camaro white book, that could tell me the production numbers on my car; I'm just curious how rare this car is, if considered rare at all?

Guys could you help me out here with this. I'm trying to decide now if I want to modify this car by dropping in a new engine or if I should leave it stock as it is now. It's really in perfect condition all around with about 60k miles on the clock. Do you guys think I should drop in the 350 and modify it a lot or should I keep it cherry stock?

I dunno, man... I've decided to keep mine more or less stock (aside form a few internal engine mods)... I'd really like my numbers to match up in 20 years. I am somewhat torn between swapping my Auto out for a 5 speed.... I fhe car is truly cherry, I'd say I'd be inclined to keep it that way. Just my opinion, tho...

Well in 91 the 16" wheels were standard on a Z but also an option on the RS. WHat do you mean by the fact that it has Z28 Suspension?

My 91 is a 305 Auto and had the 16" wheels with a 2.73 non posi rear. I bought it with 68,000 miles a little over 3 years ago and has well over double that now, And I am modifying it. I say its all up to you as to what to do. Mine is going to be a 383 TPI soon and I am going to make the car what I want it to be.

Run the RPO's on the decoder here and run the vin and see what you come up with.

OT, but I agree on those imports with deck wings... There is no real reasoning behind that at all other then looks. Performance?!?
Forget about it
Sure they can be fast, but aren't these cars front wheel drive??
hehe

I plan to keep some of mine (89 Form) stock, but add some performance that wasn't there as well.
