Strange RPO codes

Hey

I don't know if anyone else has come across the answer to these two strange rpo codes.......

GC5
GC6

anyway i've noticed through going through the boards loads of people have these two options but no-one seems to know what they relate to.........

But i recently managed to get the RPO list for my car from GM in Canada ( My car was originally from Quebec ) and these codes are listed.......

GC5 BUMPER HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT REAR L. SIDE
GC6 BUMPER HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT REAR R. SIDE

Well thats GM's description...anyone know that it actually means?

C-ya

that could mean a few things. First of all, canada has different rear lighting laws that the US. There has to be two seperate tail lights (that are as bright as brake lights) that are constantly on, and they have to be mounted within 6" of the lowest edge of the rear bumper cover. It could be refering to this. Otherwise, I believe canada has different ride height laws (there is such a thing that the factory has to follow). I could be this too. A call to a canada GM rep could give you the answer.
