what are the chances

what are the chances that i'll find a 90 iroc or 91-92 z28 in ohio, indy, or ky?
i mainly like these because of the way the dash is set up, and because it changed to "speed density" which ive heard is better power and better driveability. plus i think they look a bit better too.
i'm looking for one for under 2000$ or so that doesnt have to be running, just something i can restore and modify
also, not sure if i put this in the right forum or not, it doesnt seem to fit anywhere else

Car: 1989 Camaro IROC-Z
Engine: L98 350 TPI
Transmission: Built TH-700 R4 (Vilgilante 2800)
Axle/Gears: 9 bolt w/ PBR's
Good luck finding one for that price! You might find a roller for that but thats it. A 90 IROC and a 92 Z28 will be hard to find to begin with and for that price even harder! I like them all but dont like speed desity and the guages. Love the way the 82- 89 guages are individual. Thats just my $.02.

ok...i did say it didnt matter if the engine wasnt running, and i meant if it didnt have one, thatd bcool too, just clarifying
ok, so what would be my chances of finding any f.i. iroc or z with a 350 and t-tops? i mean, i'm asking because i'm looking at an 88 iroc but it has just a 305 in it. i'd really like the 350, t-tops, and would probably most want a stick, but the stick wouldnt be necessary
da**, i had another question which was about the history of the iroc or something, but now i cant remember
o well, ill post it later if i think of it
thanks forthe help too

edit: think i remember my question, when were the dual cat setups offered and on what models? was it only irocs or both z's and irocs or what?

If your looking for a 350 and a 5 speed combo, you'll look for a long time. They don't exist. That's something you'll have to do yourself.

If you want a car that has a 350 and t-tops that is factory, you have to stick with 87-89 for Camaro. 90-92 were aftermarket conversions. both Irocs and z28's had dual cats available as an option from 89 on.

hmm...i was under the impression that they had the 350-stick combo in the irocs at some point
and now i do remember hearing something about 90-92 with t-tops only come with 305's again
well, the search continues...
