What rearview mirror options were available on camaros in 1992? My rearview mirror has the lights with one single switch that controls both lights. What other mirror options were available that year?

no, but I could by tomorrow if you want. It doesn't really look any different than any other lighted mirrors I have seen, except instead of 2 switches controlling a single light, it has 1 switch on the driver's side that controlls both of them. Any other mirrors available besides that one in 92?

In 92 two mirrors were available. The Camaro used a mirror with two lights, two switches. The Firebird used a mirror with two courtesy lights, a console light, and one switch that operates both lights. The console light is on full time witht he headlights.

Hmmm, interesting. My 92 RS has the lights with just 1 switch controlling both lights, but no console light. To the best of my knowledge, the light is factory original. What gives? The reason I am asking is because my adjustment recently broke and now the mirror flops around and it is just plain annoying. I was checking on ebay for a replacment and all the ones I saw had to switches controlling each light individually, unlike mine.

I just wanted to add that my 92 RS had the one switch, courtesy light, and two map light mirror which is the same as the 91 TA I'm in now. I thought the only option was the self-darkening mirror as far as an upgrade went?

The electric dimming mirror was discontinued LONG before 92.

Its possible that the 92's got a specific mirror... all my 91's have the mirrors I described... Camaro's got individually switched map lights, the Firebirds were linked cause the spot where the second switch would be located, housed the console light. Camaro's have the console light under the middle A/C vents.

My 91 Z28 has the mirror with 2 separate switches to control the 2 little lights. MY friends 92 Z28 has one switch with a light that's always on that aims right down at the ashtray. I have an extra 2 swithced mirror if anyone is interested in buying one.
