Original Undercarriage Markings.
Did third gens have any markings drawn on by the assembly line workers? I know the first gen Camaros had a bunch. When I completely restore my '87 Z28 convertible, the undercarriage must be completely original. Scott Moyer, being the original owner of an extremely low mileage '87, do you know?

The answer is yes. If you search for posts by the old raptoryfm66r, he had undercarriage pics of his 2000 mile IROC. If you need pics, let me know and I'll try to get 'em.

Awesome. Gotta download those!! So, how about your car? Still got any markings "down under"?

I do, but they are kinda hard to see tonight. I need to get my car on a lift, get the beeswax undercoating off and it'll be really noticeable. My problem is with the undercoating. While I am trying to remove it, it will probably remove the markings. I need to be careful. Let me know if you are looking for anything particular. I have some time available to look this stuff up!!!

Yep, I understand about the undercoating. I'm not looking for anything specific, only the whole enchilada! I bought my convertible with 54,600 miles almost ten years ago and at that time, the last thing on my mind were undercarriage markings!! So whatever info you have would be greatly appreciated.
I'm looking to restore it to its full originality in the next couple of years. What better source than to know someone with another '87 with such low miles!!! BTW, is yours a Norwood or Van Nuys car? Thanks again.
