I had to replace the insturment pod because the speedometer needle fell off - got junkyard one replaced it - BUT didn't realize that the dash lights can be different colors -- had orange now have green/white -- but the radio is still orange - what controls the color and how do I change it back to orange????

if you still have your old one there are bulbs on the rear side of the cluster removed with a twist counter-clockwise. the lights are covered with a rubber type sleeve that make them orange they can be pulled off with a little finness

on my 84 t/a after you remove the clear plastic lense, remove the metal cover over the gauges and on the backside it will be either green or orange thats what changed the colors in the earlier years
