Hey guys... I'm having a little issue with my paint... paint code actually.

My car is a sorta 'cream' colored '83 Z28.

The problem is that when I got my RPO list printed for me on the weekend from a dealer, I ran my RPOs here.

The paint code came up as 'Metallic Orange' or something like that. I dont remember which code it is in the list, so I cant show you which it is.

Whats wrong here?

Post the RPO from your list that matches the the RPO on your cowl plate. Should be ??L & ??U. Some color RPO's changed from year to year, as did others, and the ones in the decoder on this site are for '91.

 

Ok... looking at this sheet it is 59L and 59U.

 

59 is Beige according to the Camaro White Book for 1983.

 

59 for '83 is Cream Beige, WA # 8505. Go by the WA # to match your years paint.

 

'Cream Beige' sounds right... thanks alot guys...

I wish it was Orange though like the "427" badge in my avatar... ... This color is so lame, lol, I feel like some old fart in a government car when I see the color, lol .
