6-speed history ?

Car: 87 Firebird
Engine: 5.7L
Transmission: 700R4 w/ shift kit
6-speed history ?
Does anybody know what year (if any year at all) did 3rd gens come with 6 speeds from factory? I'm doing a car hunt right now and it would help me out a lot to know this. Thanks in advance.

91 and 92 Firebird Firehawk's. And I'm not sure whether those are considered factory cars.
