Was there ever an alarm from factory?
I was wondering if there was ever an alarm offered from the factory (not the key vats stuff)? If there was I want to know where they placed the blinking red LED as I would like to emulate that with a cheap LED. You know; just a little cheap piece of mind.

All from what I read, here has never been a factory alarm system in any way (other than the Vats).. I do know Radio Shack sells a blinking LED just for the purpose you are talking about.

I have RPO t63
I checked the RPO's on my 86 IROC which has "T63". This site says that is an alarm?!?

I do have an LED in my center console -- does it do anything?
