Disk brake options

My '91 has the R6P option code, but it does not have rear disk brakes. It has the duel converters ,oil cooler, and performance axle.Is this normal or was it a screw up from the factory. Also what's the different between the G92 option and the performance axle with posi and 3.42 gear. Thanks again. Chris

It's normal, GM ran out of disc brakes that year, and put drums in their place.

You have pretty much listed whats different about G92, oil cooler, dual cats, posi rear end etc.

I should add that G92 is the performance rear axle option which includes the other options, posi, oil cooler, dual cats.
