Original Block?

Hey guys, I wanna know if this is the original block to my Camaro. Its a '83 Z28 with the L69 engine (my reason for using the 305) but I want to make sure its the original block. If its not, I might as well build something better.

Anyway, the casting number checks out (14010203) as 80-85 305ci 2 bolt.

The number on the machined pad on the passenger side deck of the block is VO513DDY with what looks like a VIN number below it, although since I painted the block (and the pad) I can't read the last 4 numbers of the VIN.

Can anyone decode the pad numbers for me? I would really appreciate it. Thanks

VO513DDY

V = Flint, Mi
0513 = May 13
The DDY Suffix Code checks out as being used on the '83 L69. It was also used on the '83 LU5; but then again they are same engine except for the cam, intake and exhaust manifolds, and carb.
