Did GTAs come with Wonderbars?

Subject pretty much says it all. Did the GTAs come with wonderbars or do I need to order one?

Pontiac and Chev choose to engineer handling differently. Pontiac used THICK sway bars, Chev used smaller sway bars, but added the chassis stiffener. Also, a Camaro and Trans AM had different weights front/rear.

It is surprizing that they did not put the bar on the T/A as well. But perhaps the 36mm front sway bar made up the difference.

Given the thicker sway bars will I still see an improvement using the wonderbar?

Based on the comments people say about how much sub frame connectors change the car, I Would guess than any amount of chassis stiffening would be a good idea.

For it would come down to cost. It is was $25 ... why not. IF it was $250 ... it might not be worth it.

The wonderbar helps protect the steering box area, which apparently is prone to cracking with 16 in wheels. By the way, Global West's version is actually called a steering box brace, I believe.

I noticed a HUGE difference in my 88 Formula. Went from understeering to more neutral. Silenced a couple of creaks and groans too. All in all the front end feels more solid. If you have already installed strut tower brace you might not notice anything.

Did the IROC wonderbras (wonderbars) completely eliminate frame cracking at the steering box, or just help reduce chance for cracking?

trade you the woderbar for your GTA I heard it helps the area around the steering box so I think I will keep it. But if you want to trade its yours. Also I think it helps to prevent the cracking.
