Lear Siegler Seats - anyone have them? are they rare?

My 1983 camaro has the lear siegler package for the interior. Are these rare? What are the seats, interior worth? Does anyone know of a place where I can get replacement fabric?

I had them in my old '83....and I waited six months for them, too. There was a material stop on them at Van Nuys, and they weren't ready for production until about halfway through the '83 model year. Mine was Charcoal/Burnt Orange in a red car.....really wild looking!

That interior IS rare.....we used to go check out the new Camaros at the dealerships every fall in the mid-80s, and I never saw more than five or six other cars from '83 to '85 that had it.....my best friend had an '84 L69 that had the blue Conteur interior, and that looked fantastic!

From time to time, you'll see the woven center section (Camaro Camaro Camaro) show up on EBay......a whole roll of it. Right now, no one reproduces those seat covers, and I don't even think the solid color fabric (from the back, bolsters, and headrests) is available. It's easier to get 1st Gen houndstooth than this interior!

Good luck.....wish I still had mine. :

Greg, did your 83 look like this?

I've also got a set of 83 TA Lear seats that I'm having redone for my 85 Grand Prix.

The Lear Siegler seats themselves are not very rare. however the CAMARO pattern seems to be. I have only seen a handful of cars with that interior pattern. I really like it too, I think the Orange looks great!

I saw an 83 Z28 w/ the blue interior about a year ago, it also looked great.

FYI on Ebay a few weeks ago a CAMARO interior (door panels, seat covers, plastic trim) in three tone grey/black showed up. The seller said he bought it in 85 when he purchased his car "just in case" anything happened to the original interior. The asking price was $1,500. No one bid on it.

Except for the rims, that's exactly what my step brothers 84 looked like. I'm having flashbacks from high school already.
