There are no!!! third Gen 1/18 Firebirds available. There are first, second, and fourth out there in limited quantities. There are even some 1/18 third gen Camaros. NO FIREBIRDS!!!
Is there anyone out there who either knows the right person who can get this rolling or who wants these as much as I do?

I can see at least 5 possibilities for releases...
1 Early 80's Trans Am.
2. Late 80's Formula 350 WS6
3. Late 80's GTA
4. 91/92 non ground effect model
5. 91/92 Trans Am GTA

Also a nice one for Pace Car collectors The Turbo Indy Pace Car. They could even do a Knight Rider if the licensing is still available. Looking for fellow Third Genners opinions out there!!!

A 1982 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am Recaro edition is due out next year. It will be largely based off the Knight Rider one that should be out this or next month from Ertl. You can go to www.diecastmuscle.com to see the Knight Rider version.

I agree, there are far too few 3rd gen models or diecast out there, and fewer yet 3rd gen Firebirds.

I would love to have a 1/8th scale T/A, but they only made Camaros.

What shocked me is that they finally released the first T/A Indy Pace car. Can't wait til that gets here.

i have 3 diecast thirdgen firebirds. so they do make them. you just need to look for them.

I cant wait to see some of the third gen cars begin to be produced in 1/18 scale. I certainly want a few....

 

they are johnny lighting type cars. but still they are third gen firebirds. 2 were the dare car series from match box.
