Make sure that the VIN code on your RPO sheet matches the VIN code in the dash. Also a previous owner could have done a little modification on the car. Do you have the switches in the center console for the windows

That's odd, I believe I have the exact opposite situation.

Psh not like it matters though. The locks stick when trying to unlock in the cold, and in the REALLY cold; the less said about the windoes, the better.

rpo's in dash? I'm going off the rpo inside the console. there are no switches in the console nor are there any holes for them. thats why I was curious. the console is part of the top plate where the switches would be so it couldn't have been changed.

Actually me and my brother deleted his power windows when we swapped doors on his Firebird, and changing the plate where the switcheswould be was a 5 minute job.

but when you move the upper console where the switches would be you move the console bucket where the rpo's are. so your rpo's get moved to his car and his to yours. there for if you read the rpo's in your console it wouldn't say power windows any more.

not on a 85-92 Firebird, the console piece where the switches are are seperate from the storage compartment.
