Didnt these seats come standard on the 1982 Firebird?? Also look at this ebay, starting bid is 500 bucks or you can buy it for 1,350 and there not even in top shape.. Wanted share that..

Well those are the "Knight rider" pmd seats. They are getting pretty hard to find these days.According to what I know,They came standard on all 1982 firebird s/e's.I believe you could have only gotten the pmd seats if you ordered the B20 Deluxe interior package. The seats came in cloth, vinyl, leather.

Heres a breakdown list:

1982 firebird s/e: standard

1982 firebird/trans am: optional

1983 firebird s/e and trans am: optional

Unbelievable. People, dont fall for that load of crap. They are stock T/A seats, worth about $50. I just threw a tan set away with drivers side power, that were in better shape than the ones in the picture.

They are really called Viscount seats.

I have a passenger side in Slate Gray. They come up in the junkyard pretty often.

PMD*

They are pretty comfortable, but offer no lateral support compared to some seats.

I see those PMD seats at swap meets for no more than $50 for the pair. Even saw a couple sets of the power seat over the last couple years.

I still see them in the junkyards too.

14" Turbo Cast rims are all over the place. I've passed on three sets(including one with caps) at $50 set because I don't feel like lugging them around the swap meet.

If anyone finds a 15 inch set at a good price please contact me! Those were the wheels that originally came with my silver '83 and I would love to have a set for photoshoots and such.

I'm always keeping an eye out for the 15x7's. I know where three are sitting on a silver '82 T/A sitting in the junkyard but I think KITTvsKARR would kill me if I bought them and sold them to someone else

I found another 82 T/A with 15x7's a few years ago and every rim had HUGE chunks missing. Looking at the damage on the car it must have did a couple 360's wacking curbs before hitting something BIG!

I just bought myself a set two days ago

They are out of a 25th Daytona T/A.

1982 only. Any thirdgen seat (Camaro and Firebird) can bolt right into any thirdgen.

84L69TA,
Can you post some pics of them (so I can see the condition)?
Do you just have the fronts, or the whole set?
What do you want for them?

Thanks,

George
