$1000 would be an Injection mold cost. There are new technologies where the molds are much less expensive and you can get great results...

But since someone else is already making them I woudl not see that it would be worth it to me.

What's up with GM? AFAIK you can reproduce anything for a car...
Now that I think about it I guess the hangup would be the emblem on the center of the hubcap...

Does anyone reproduce the Pontiac arrowhead stickers on them, or does everyone unusally peel that off? Just wondering...

Does anyone know if the emblem decals from the old rally II wheel centercaps would work on these hubcaps? I've seen people paint the indentation on the old centercaps red, but I see that the Paddock and Classic Industries sell the emblem decals. When I saw them I thought they might work on the Firebird hubcaps, but not sure. If anything they might be too big...anyone know for sure??

I just measured the Pontiac arrow head on my NOS bowling ball hubcap and a friend's '74 Trans Am rally II rim center. They are the same size! The reproduction '73-81 Rally II arrow head emblems that Classic sells should be a perfect fit!

I kinda figured they might be the same, but didn't have anything to compare it with. It kinda makes sense since Pontiac could use the same part over alot of years...or just use any left overs they had from previous years. Watch people now try and sell these things on Ebay marked way up because they are "Rare Knight Rider Emblems".....well, I guess if they want to say true to the show they wouldn't need them since they not there on they show.

Has anybody heard of Don Colie's "stay-put" caps? I've heard a couple people mention that they have them and they work great. How much does he ask for them? How are they different from other replica caps? Does he have a web site of any kind?
