No. I see those in the junkyard all the time. They are still available or recently discontinued from GM.

They were used on the Viscount(PMD) and standard interior seats atleast through the mid-80s.

Things that are 1982 rare items are, the 15x7 N89 rims and caps, aluminum hood, good perrella cloth deluxe door panels and seats, 82-84 dash boards, T/A lower wheel flares, and CrossFire parts.

I think that is '82 only because '82 used the single retractor seatbelts unlike the '83 up cars.

Are you sure its not '82-83 that used the single retractor seatbelts? I'm pretty sure I've seen '83s with the single retractor belts and buckles with the button in the center(like the 2nd-gen f-bodies)

I've seen that belt guide on the standard interior high bucket seats atleast through 1985.

Both of my '83's have dual retractors and the GM button. '84 was the first year for the red button.

OK, I must be mistaken then. I just rememer seeing the buckles with the center buttons and assumed they were the single retractor style. Good to know.
