That means you have WS7 which is WS6 without the rear disk brakes.

That tire size should be 215/65/15, NOT 205.

my mistake about the tire size. so was the ws7 "upgradable" to the ws6 or was it incompatible?

There was a rear disk brake shortage in '82 and some cars ordered with WS6 received WS7 instead.

WS7 came about because there were shortages of the rear disc parts. WS6 and WS7 are basically the same in specs except for for the rear drums on WS7. Your car was probably ordered during a shortage.

You can make your car a WS6 by getting the proper rear disc parts from a salvage yard. The proportioning valve and master cylinder were also different on rear disc cars.
