Junked 83 crossfire

Junked 83 crossfire

I was at the yard today and I saw a junked 83 crossfire,white with the black accent on bottom.It was however raped for the fenders,hood,nose,not that I need them(I was their looking for gta lights but none like always).But it did have a good set of tinted taillights .I would like to get them for spares but the trunk is closed and dont know how to open/shimmy it open,anyone have tips?

Well...if there is enough juice in the battery(or find a car with a good one) and it has the power trunk release option you can just pop the trunk with the dash button.

If not, then you need to climb in from the rear seat area and pull or break away the plastic panel that covers up the rear tail panel. If you look at the latch mechanism there will be a little rectangle "break-out" cover for the power trunk release option. Use a flat head screw driver to break out the cover and then push the finger inside to pop the hatch.

If you have a nice cordless drill and a big azz drill bit you can drill out the lock too.
