i reamemeber a post about sending your vin to get your build sheet with rpo codes and where the car was sold and all that good stuff, what post was that? i cant find it

NEEDFORSPEED, here is the info you want. They send you a restoration package and then there was another post where I got my original invoice. I am not sure which one you are lookinf for so try this one first and if not I will look for theother.

When I sent mine in (you quoted my e-mail, towards the top of this thread), I got a package that was 3/4's of an inch thick. Original dealer invoice showing the name and address of the receiving dealer, price of the car, package with all of the options and codes, sales brochure, and tons of other, more esoteric information.
And for FREE, the price is just right!

For the post 1980 Cadillac invoices, would that show options that may or may not have been factory ordered? Mine has badging under the trunk lid I think refers to the sim-con top installer, I'd like to nail down so I'm not assuming. I plan to add Cadillac sail panel pins that are missing from the install, but it looks officially done. You can tell a poor sim-con though on eBay I saw a very strange Lincoln-esque version with opera window that had badging. I'm still miffed by that one!
