It kinda looks like something that the manufacturer of the seats put in there when they shipped it to GM.

If its from the seat manufacturer why would it have "Tires"

Might be something like a partial build sheet.

Its sort of the build sheet. But not the real one.

If you go Here You will see sort of what a REAL build sheet looks like. But not as ripped up. This was found ontop of the gas tank of my 82 pace car. (well NOt mine anymore since I sold it a couple weeks back)

So you can find the real build sheet almost anywhere?

Yes you can find them almost anywhere,

THe most common places seem to be under the front carpet or under the carpet on top of the cas tank. Other places include in the lock box in the back (new one for me) and under the seats.

I found mine under the passenger carpet above the Catalytic Convertor.

Rear passenger foot well is another place I've heard, but normally they are being scraped off of the floor due to the awesome sealing of GM t-tops!

Aids the particular assembly stage workers I imagine.
I've never found any papers concerning my car, as a former theft, even the under hood plaques were scraped out, a half successful effort, but bothersome nonetheless
If I do re-carpet, there's still a chance I'd find something but have no intention to do that repair yet. I was shopping for new seats the year prior though, I could REALLY use them

Well I haven't looked under the carpet in the back, but I didn't find the build sheet when I took the carpet in the front out of the car. I have the carpet sitting on the back of the car because I'm fixing the floor. I'll look in the back when I put everything back in. Thanks for all the replies.

When I worked for a local GM Dealer, they recieved similar stubs when cars were delizered. It may be something to that sort, or a special order

Hmmm, never saw that before. I have my real build sheet, I wonder where the half build sheet is.
