How about a pic poll of bad condition seats and prices you've come across for replacements? I was at a point to buy a set, but the deal fell through, as did financing. (money had been sent, AND returned)
I have to make do with my own seat in the below condition. Being a convertible, I'm likely to go with cloth/foam seats again, but entertaining fourth gen replacements. I noticed one 4th gen F car at the junk yard this weekend, no interior seating left ;:~()

I'm anti seat covers, they're just tacky
With old seats that get hit with weather of all types (no garage) I make do for now. If the material had been detailed and was alot newer, then I'd be adding fabric protector, but replacement is only a matter of time for mine! haha
