New to site, Finally picking up 86 IROC-Z

My name is Mike Dougherty and on June 4th I am going to be picking up a 1986 Chevy Camaro IROC-Z. It has an LG4 305, T-5 5 speed tranmissions, rear disc brakes, t-tops, Full flowmaster 3" exhaust, and the car only has 96,000 miles on it. The car was going to become a project car however was never completed. The car only needs a paint job and trim pieces put back onto the car to have a fully running streetable car. The vin number for the car is this1G1FP87H0GN180375. Now the question is, my car has a factory 145mph speedometer, however I thought the 145mph one only came in the 1986 cars with TPI? My car is a 4bbl setup so kind of confused? The tranmission in car car looks like it was either replaced or upgraded. The motor just looks like it has an open air intake filter. Once i get the car, I am going to clean it up and replace anything that needs to be replaced. Is there really anything I can do to this 305 right now to up the power untill I can get time to drop in a larger motor? It already has an exhaust system so what else can I do? I have pictures for the car below.

If you have any tips or want to talk about the camaro, you can either email me or aim me at geforcextreme55.

No, my friend bought an 86 Iroc-z with a 5-speed LG-4 and it has the 145 mph speedo in it too. The car only has 58K on it and doesn't look messed with, so I think it's stock.

Looks like the car has alot of potential. What color are you planning on painting it?

Nice, thats gonna look killer. I saw an IROC at the car wash a couple days ago in a nice blue. Looked really good. The darker blue will be sweet.

I have a nearly identical car but Red and in Mint shape.

Early 1986 cars had the lower while the later 1986's had the 145.
