looking to get a new job that'll be a commute, and my DD truck is too nice to add so many miles. but at the same time, i cant bring myself to buy some pos econobox that'll run 18s in the 1/4 w/ mods and ride my patience to the bone.

I get 23 mpg hwy with my moded 87 Formula, 305 TPI. I gained about 5 Mpg just by converting to TPI. I run Flat 15 sec right now in the 1/4 but I ahve not tuned the ECM.
I think TRAXION gets 30 mpg and turns 12's in a NA 350

I've never seen a list of the MPG's 3rd gens get.. The EPA rating was listed for all the cars (on the window sticker) when they were delivered, but nobody seemst to have gathered the info..
FWIW, my 5.7L 1990 GTA is stock (except for a catback exhaust).. I've always got about 25 mpg on the highway and around 18mpg in the city.. It runs mid to high 14's in the quarter..

My 305 TBI (high flow cat and exhaust with msd wires) 31 mpg is the record. That was achieved by not taking it out of 5th gear for over 350 miles though. Mixed driving still gets around 20 mpg.
Find me another car with the mileage, handling, torque, and ttops and I'll then maybe I put the RS away.
