There version of the formula? That would be cool, a tpi 5/speed 345 or 342 geared sports coupe, with some 16 inch rubber.
I think thats where I will take my sports coupe. All I need now is a tpi and 5 speed.

I believe initially the 1987 LT was to take this position, but it only lasted one year. Its likely Chevy did not want to eat into their "Z28/IROC" sales and therefore after initally wanting to have a car comparable to the Formula droped the Idea and went another route. From what I have read in pre-release promotional lit (From Pontiac) the LT was to be a Mustang Fighter tooth and nail. But marketing changed their minds after early lit releases and it faded away.

Personally I really like the 16" or 17" rims on a non gfx 3rd gen. It really adds a "I mean Business" personality to the looks of the car for me.

The 14" and 15" never did anything for me. And anything larger than 18" looks "pimpin".

Ok those that asked for pics via email, check your in-boxes. I sent the full size images so if you are on dial-up it may take a few minutes.
