T-tops with a 350 was quite common in 1989. Possibly the most common of the years. Where 87 & 88 has a small spattering, 89 has the most and 90 has NONE. Late 1991 & 1992 there are several Formula 350's with T-tops, but there unusual and apparently Formula only thing.

The aftermarket ones are easy to spot. The distance between the windshield & Top is about twice the distance of those from the factory.

up to 1990, L98 T-top cars were common... I have a buddy with an 89 GTA with factory T-tops..
It's hard to find an F-body from 90-92 with the 350 and factory T-tops, but they DID make them.. The only way to tell if T's are factory is to look at the SPID sticker for the RPO code CC1.
Here's a SPID sticker from a 1992 Formula (10th VIN digit N = 92).. Note it has CC1 and L98..

I believe that only the Formula got T-tops after 1989 that was in 91 & 92 ONLY. Like stated above 87-89 T-tops & 350 were kind of common.
There is no Proof Whatsoever with a T-top 350 car in 1990 period, nodda, nill, none, nunka, it does not exist unless you can get a SPID sheet or equivelant for proof.

This may be a dumb question, but was their any correlation between the Lexan T-tops and the 350? What I'm asking is, did the 350/T-top combo end after the Lexan tops were discontinued? I know that many of the Lexan tops were changed out before they were sold to the public due to cracking/crazing problems.

Actually the Acrylic (Leximar) T-tops were from 89-91 (possibly 92 as well). There is no corelation between 350 cars and Plastic T-tops. As there are plenty of LO3 cars with the Acrylic tops.

The Leximar Acrylic tops were an option, many of which have been changed to Glass by the dealer due to issues. I believe the Plastic lightweight tops had an RPO of CC3. The Glass tops had an RPO of CC1.
How you can tell the difference is
1) the Glass tops are really Heavy.
2) The Plastic tops had a wide band of metal that stiffened the plastic, on the front and back of the top.
3) The Plastic tops should have a decal letting you know how to care for your "ACRYLIC" tops.
