91 G92 with drum brakes...

I got this car from ebay. Some of you might have seen it. For the price, it's not bad at all, but it does need some cleaning. There is one problem...

The eigth digit in the VIN is 8. It has dual cats. Why do I have drums out back?

They reported back in 91 that they ran a shortage of DISC. Im not suprised you have a G92 with drums, theres some ppl on this site with drums and have 91 Z28 G92. 84customZ28 is one person with a G92 91 Z with drums out back

GM had a strike at the plant that produced the rear disc rear ends or something to that effect that caused some G92's to have drums for a credit

To bad that when they went on strike they didnt put 3:42 gears with the 350, or they didnt put a 5 speed with the 350!
