Were there ever any Recaros or Daytonas built with this engine?

I have never heard of any, thinking that there ,maybe, was a production gap, from when the S/E cars were made, till the time this engine option was made available.

Would have made for a cool combo

No Daytona's were made with the L69. I'm pretty sure no '83 Recaro's were either.

 

How would one know though? Far as I know, GM never kept records of RPO combos

 

The 5.0 H.O. came out in the 1984 T/A to replace the problem plagued crossfire motor.

 

It came out in 1983. 662 made, all 5 speeds...

 

Yup... it came out mid-year, just like for the Z28. There were 662 Firebirds with it, and 3223 Camaros.

 

I have never seen or heard of an L69 in an 83 Recaro or a Daytona. But it sure would have been a nice combo

 

Nope, no L69 Daytona's... they were all built before the L69 was made available.

 

In case this question is in reference to the 83 Recaro "H.O." car currently for sale at Hawks.....there was a mistake in the listing, its not an HO
