As far as i know IROC's were Camaros and Trans Ams were Firebirds.. I never heard of a IROC trans Am.... and i dont think anybody has one. But you would know by the bageing on the Car, Hood, rims if stock, if you have a camaro you dont have the pop up head lights, if you have a Firebird/Trans Am you got pop up headlights, The tail lights on the Firebird/Trans am has Pontiac on it, Camaros dont.

Actually they are technically considered "Firebirds", since the "Trans Am" is a racing series, IROC is a different racing series. Using a Trans Am would be like saying INDY NASCAR. So although the Firebirds are all dressed up in Trans Am clothing they are considered Firebirds to the race and the officials. However since the demise of the Firebird line in 2002, I am not sure what they call them since the car is no longer produced and they have ont found a suitable successor.

Just had to clarify

John
