This might be better served on the GTA source page, but I thought I'd ask here first.

My 87 GTA came factory with bright red emblems on the flame red metallic exterior. This oddity has been seen on other cars from the 87 year, so I know it wasn't some kind of aftermarket job. My car just got repainted the stock color, and I'm needing a new set of emblems.

Do I go with the factory bright red emblems on the flame red car...or go with the flame red emblems like the 88 - 92 came with on the flame red cars?

oh yeah... I'm hoping to get them from www.gtaemblems.com if anybody has advice on them

This pic shows the original emblem color on the car - after the wreck and before the paint and body work.

 

Strangely enough my 88 flame red GTA has the same bright red nose emblem and the side GTA emblems look like the russet brown color.I have beenthinking about replacing with the original color.I just assumed that the original owner replaced these for some reason.
